What is Clinical Hypnotherapy?
Clinical Hypnotherapy is a safe and effective therapy that has helped many people to overcome all sorts of problems that they may have been struggling with for some time. It differs from other therapies because it opens a door to your subconscious mind. With the help of your Hypnotherapist to guide you, this enables you to “reprogram” those parts of your mind that are resisting change by conscious effort.
Applications of Hypnotherapy
Most people will know somebody who has given up smoking with the help of hypnotherapy. Indeed the British Psychological Society recently published the findings of a ‘working party’ that concluded that Hypnosis is probably at least as effective as other common methods of helping people to stop smoking. However, hypnosis can also be useful for a variety of other conditions including:
Establishing Healthy Eating Habits & Weight Management
Conquering Fears & Phobias
Dealing with Problem Habits & Addictions
Improving Confidence and Self Esteem
Hypnotherapy is considered to be a ‘Brief Therapy’, which means that clients can expect to make rapid progress after only a few sessions.
