Reflexology
What is Reflexology? And it’s application
a) Reflexologists believe that there are reflexes on the feet that relate to all the organs and parts of the body. By massaging the nerve endings and reflexes of the feet, you can relieve congestion, release the vital energy flow to all the organs of the body, and stimulate the body’s natural healing powers.

b) Reflexology has been used for around 4000 years, with its roots in the ancient civilisations of Egypt, China and the native tribes of America.  The aim of Reflexology is to return the body to homeostasis, the state of equilibrium or balance, where all organs and glands in the body are working in perfect harmony.  Therefore if an organ is under-active Reflexology will stimulate it.
If a gland is over-active Reflexology will help it to correct itself.  The Reflexologist works to stimulate the body’s own healing powers.

Reflexology can really help with stress.  It is simple but very effective, and can be uplifting or calming, energising or relaxing, whatever the body needs. It can be used in a wide range of complaints from stress and chronic fatigue to poor circulation, insomnia, digestive disorders, tinitus, high blood pressure, Asthma and constipation.

Reflexology may prove beneficial to fertility, by stimulation of the ovaries and improving general well being.  It is safe to have when pregnant and can also be helpful when the baby is overdue.
